Thanks, interesting to note that the 340 utility wasn't offered with a diesel engine at the time of
this printing, we have one and it is said that IH only made 548 of them.
Also, Dad bought a gas 460 utility, I really liked that tractor.

I have a 240 brochure that has that exact page. Came with the real 240U we bought in 1960. I'm amazed IH didn't offer a live PTO on the 240 but I guess that didn't bother us since we ran nothing but post hole diggers and augers with it.

i have a 340 diesel utility.

What kind of shape is yours in? Mine has a loader and we still use it,
have some gear noise but it runs pretty well, some blowby.
