Super M firing on 2 cylinders

Hi All,

I have a 1954 Super M that was running fine, then one day not long ago it started up on only 2 cylinders. 1 and 2 fire fine, 3 and 4 will fire only when the throttle is increased. At idle or after the RPMs settle when throttled up, 3 and 4 drop back off. Checked timing, plugs, wires, distributor...all look good, but I am not an expert by any means on tractors.

And ideas?

Manifold problem as In cracked or a gasket gone bad. Bad plug or plug wire. By the way a plug can look good but yet be bad. Move plug #1 and #2 to #3 and #4 and the #3 and #4 to #1 and #2 and see if the miss fire goes with the plugs.

Vacuum leak. Either a crack in the
rear (3-4) intake runner or failing
manifold to head gasket.
