We have a older H and the mag went bad. We had a up right distributor from a H or M and put it on. it has spark and runs but it is badly out of time. You would time that the same as a
tractor that never had a mag on it wouldnt you? Thank you.

It should be set at TDC for static timing. (not running). Make sure the centrifugal advance works correctly. A timing light is needed for this. Jim

Distributor rotation is counter clockwise on a Delco vs clockwise on a Farmall.
