IH Skid Steers

I was going through the older parts of the forum and seen someone said Hydra-Mac made some skid steer loaders for Case IH in the late 70's early 80's

My Grandpa owned a 12C he bought brand new in 79, we sold it at auction when Grandpa Passed away to a local farmer who was going to restore it I'm tracking it down wanting it back now for my own personal use and the family.

So if they made them for IH (4100 series I think) I'd think they're the same Are parts still available?

Go on the net and do a search for it. Usually motor parts aren't hard to find. Some models of skid loaders parts are very hard to find and expensive if you find them. not familiar with the one your talking about so search the net. a lot of good information out there. good luck and hope it all works out for you.

I haven't done much searching for the motor I just know it was a 3cyl Isuzu and most likely only came in the 12C... Possibly the 9C & 14C
Other than that I found 3-4 Dealers, 2 That CAN get parts & 2 Who might be able too.
A bunch of news on how hydra-mac went down and so on... I know They made Skid steers for Gehl/IH (4140/4130)
And possibly how they went down was Law-Suits they had against Polaris/Arctic Cat and Onan...

So basically Hydra mac was Steiger family venture, as they Mostly went down because they were "built too good" and re-engineering them to meet safety standards cost too much The after child of hydra mac Is the ASV positrack which has ties to Polaris/arctic cat.
and Onan was selling Hydra-Mac FAULTY BAD engines and they knew it!! A settlement was won...

CaseIH bought the factory out and closed it down late 90's - 2000's.

Also, my Uncle Scott, Father, and Grandpa had a contact who had the Priming unit rebuilt, injection pump and injectors So I gotta find out on that...
