IH side dresser identification help

New member here. Looking to identify an IH side dresser. Does anybody know what this IH side dresser fits? Has double spinners, double gates and double spouts. Haven't seen one like this and have no use for it. Thought someone here might have seen one before.

Hi Slab, Welcome aboard, can't help you for sure ,but my best guess it is for a potatoe planter, because, they are such high user of nutrient's, you would dare put it all one one side for fear of hurting germination, unless it's for cotton, i have no idea if the cotton plant is the same way. Those spinner's are called star's, the 100 drill used the same system, and they were fool proof, and accurate, you should be able to pull them up and clean out around them!
 
I'd like to be able to mount it on my Super A but don't have a bracket for it. I'd like to sell it if somebody has a use for it as my Super A already has a one row side dresser.
 
Best I can tell from my IH implements parts catalog, the hopper is one of two from the A-401 fertilizer unit used with A-452 four row beet and bean cultivator. built 1951/55 Marc

What tractor would that implement have fit?
 
catalog is saI-1a---international catalog , farm implements for use with super-a farmall tractor. so I would assume it could be used with all super a-s even though it was only built between 51/55 Marc
 
I have no idea where one could be found, I have had mine for a long time , Don't remember where I got it. the catalog is 1 1/2 inches thick and has 702 pages with 15 revision pages. it covers I think everything that was made to be used with the Super A. It has pictures, with implements on tractor, with total parts breakdown, with ref.no's, part no's, description and years used. Marc
