You paint guys. Im ready to put final coat on entire red part of tractor. Some of it was prepped correctly and painted over a year ago. I never
intended to be this long. Now I'm wanting to spray the whole tractor except sheet metal and such.
Should I be concerned about adhering to the cured and hardened paint I have put on there. Just wanting to know if any specific prep would
help adhesion.

You need to sand it with a fine grit. That will give the new paint something to adhere to. If you don't sand it, the surface will be so smooth that the new paint can't (stick) to the older paint and in time or if you pressure wash it, the paint will chip off.

Look for XIM Flash Bond. It is kind of like a "liquid sandpaper". Spray it on what you want to paint, then follow up with the color coat. There are other products out there also, but I have only used Flash Bond.
Pokey here

I am not in the paint business but repainted my old truck once. I took acetone on a rag and wiped every surface until the paint got all sticky. Then I painted. It stay on real good.
