IHC Utilities

Ignoring issues of parts availability and expense, which IH utility model would be your pick: 330, 300/350, or 340?

Gas, or diesel if available? TA, live PTO, power steering assumed. 3 point or fast hitch?

I know they are all similar, I own a 330, just getting a 350 delivered today, never been around a 340.

I would vote for a 350 hi clearance model, gas. We had one in the 60's and it had 38 in tires and the hydraulic valves back further on the right side of the seat, 3 wide.

I have owned this 350 gasser for over 25 years and have used it to bale, rake, move snow, move dirt,
many other uses. I think it is actually pretty easy to get up and down off of, very easy to store.
The hydraulics are great, with down pressure, has power steering where many of the 300's don't.
This will be the last tractor to leave the farm if I can help it.
The other utility I bought because it was uncommon, 340 diesel, 548 made. But I use it a lot also,
once starting issues were resolved it is darn handy also but I would still use the 350 for pto work.

Any or them if and only if they have power steering. They can be bears to steer with out power steering. I have a 300U that does not have power steering and it steers very hard

The 340 diesel utility. I would have two or three of the gas 350's if I could find more of
them at a good price.

I own A 350U Gas W/ps FH . I would never own a 350U Diesel. Would love to have a 350U high Utility. Easily the best of the utility series Jim

My 300 utility, handy as a shirt pocket and stout as a bull, I think its great getting on and off it, lots easier than my 560 and night and day compared to my ACts..
I plow disk mow cultivate rake and bale with this old girl, it'll leave when I do..
