what oil do you all use for steering housing. 90 weight will not stay in there.

90 wt.You need a new seal.Or put in some grease.

I rebuilt the steering housing on my Super AV and use 90 wht. with no problem. As far as oil leaking, Steiners sells rebuild kits (and individual parts) for these housings. I added RTV around the outside of seals and gaskets to get the housing oil tight. I needed to because I have a white demonstrator and oil stains would make a mess.

Go to Case IH or John Deere and get corn head grease

If it?s leaking and you don?t want to rip it all apart, do as others have said, use cornhead grease and save yourself some grief.
