Looking for correct aftermarket top radiator hose for a Farmall 140 (P/N 369397R1).
Most aftermarket 369397R1 hoses do not fit. CaseIH hose IDs are 2-3/8" and 2-1/2". Many aftermarkets IDs are 2" and 2-5/8".

Is this the one you want? On this web site.

I have sent an email to YT Parts about the problem.
The CASEIH dimensions agree with my tractor radiator and thermostat housing.
It's the aftermarket source that is in error.
Main point is, if someone orders this hose to fit a 369397R1 application, most likely it will not fit.

When I replaced all the hoses on my 200 couple years ago, I went to Napa and got short pieces to fit. My top hose didn't have a bend so not sure if it will work. Has the c123 engine. Something to consider if all else fails..

From YTD catalog:

Farmall 140 Radiator Hose, Upper
Radiator Hose, Upper - Measures 2 inches inside diameter on one end and 2.625 inside diameter on the other, for gas engines. For tractor models 140, 240, 404, 424, 444. (Part No: 369397R1) $10.65
Farmall 140 Radiator Hose, Upper
Radiator Hose, Upper - Radiator hose, upper, for gas engine with Blackstone radiator. For 140, 444. One end is 2.25" I.D. the other end is 2.500" I.D.. (Part No: 405111R1) $14.40

You have me confused. Are you saying if you order part #405111R1 (this looks to be the part # you need) that you get #369397R1?

The 405111R1 is for tractors using the Blackstone radiator.
The correct hose for my application is the 369397R1, however, the aftermarkets have the wrong inside diameters.
If the hose was made as describe by CASEIH, it would fit.

I have been lurking for a while, but this is one of the first times I have something useful to contribute. :D

I recently went through the same issue after my 1970 140 decided to run away into a tree.

I ended up getting an IH hose from Messicks and it fits fine.
