Farmall B carb kit

I need to find a carb rebuild kit for the zenith carb on my 46B.

The disc on top of the carb has 213348 on the outer ring and 8707C on the inner ring. These numbers don’t match any model number for a rebuild kit listed on this site. The only other markings I could find are zenith made in USA and B14.

I’m soaking it in carb cleaner to get more of the funk off to see if anything else shows up.

Where else should I be looking for a model number?

Thanks for the help.

I get most of my carb kits from O'Reilly's auto parts store in town. If I have a carb I am not sure of I take the carb with me and then can compare gaskets etc. so as to get the correct kit

I believe that one of those numbers is the Zenith model number, and the other is the I.H. part number. Carburetor overhaul kits are very generic anymore. The same kit can be used for several different models of Zenith carburetors. The parts included may be just what you need, or you may need to improvise a little.

If your need is to simply freshen it up a bit, all you need is a gasket, and a new needle valve and seat.

I get good service from McDonald Carb.
I quit buying kits from the auto parts stores a long time ago. They sell somewhat universal kits full of parts you don't need.

After some more googling, I found that model number listed on the carb returns to an Allis-Chalmers part. Looks like the carbs got swapped sometime along the way.

Don't know about your tractor but a lot of carbs has gotten pretty cheap out there. Good full overhaul kits will cost 25-40 bucks. I put a new carb on my jubilee for under 60. it works great. just an idea.

What you may have is a mutt carb. I have found many carbs are of 4 sizes. Small medium large and extra large. So what you may have is the top of one made for your B and the bottom where the numbers are from an AC tractor. I have a carb on a Case VAC that is part the cotter carb for the VAC and part of a carb off a Ford 8N

Quite possible. I think I’m gonna order a kit based on the a/c part number and see what happens.

Again that is the reason when I run into thing like you have I take the carb to O'Reilly's and match up gaskets to the carb which is the most important part of a carb. Wrong gasket no engine run due to odd things going on with the carb

Exactly. The gasket is not interchangeable between various models of Zenith carburetors.
