F-20 Governor Update

Adjusted the linkage on the connecting rod fork and got the engine to respond perfect while accelerating to full throttle, but the throttle lever still
wants to creep down when throttled to a idle? Guess I'm half way there. Any suggestions? Thanks

Would another/stronger spring at the front end help?

What spring are you referring to?

I assumed you are talking about the levers on the steering column. If so, there is a spring on the rod holding the tube against the steering column.

The lever on steering post is the spark advance lever. The one on left side of fuel tank is throttle.

My F-20 doesn't have that throttle on the left side, although I wished it did like my F-30's, my throttle is the another lever by spark advance. And yes, I'll check that spring out today on steering column , thanks.

would you happen to have a spare front v belt crank pulley for an F 30?

The older F-20s had 2 levers - 1 for the Mag and 1 for the "Constant Speed" governors.
