runs perfect an hour or two then starts sputtering....runs 160 degrees when working it...runs perfect plenty of power then all of sudden starts sputterind or missing not enough power to cut thick grass...like its staving for gas..can take out drain in carb while running at idle an then trottle it up an when i let off it a stream of gas will come out drain an then its just running down the carb ,like dribbling down your chin...throttle it up again an dribble goes away...then let off it an a solid stream shoots out carb drain, then starts dibbling again......if you shut off tracter an pull drain it just runs down the carb, never a solid stream but will fill up quart jar pretty fast....has new condenser, second one...should it have solid stream or is dribbling down bottom of carb ok..the drain is kinda 7 or8 oclock not at bottom of carb..its right before the load screw...had carb off several times cleaned an blown out...it runs perfect untill it starts starving after a hour or so....should i check the seat that needle goes in..sorry for long wind ,searching for straws, thanks as always..........dewy

It might be a bad coil. Your fuel analysis seems OK. If the coil is so hot that you can't touch it, that is the issue. Jim

jim the tractor has a ballast resistor ,should i get a 12 v coil an take out resistor....tractor has alternator, what you think..........thanks as always......dewy

I think a ballast resistor coil is just fine. Don't replace it unless the coil is hot when it begins to misfire. Jim
