Farmall M Camshaft Bushings

While installing camshaft bushing in the block of my Farmall m
I installed the middle bushing and the front bushing and got all
of the holes lined up on the bushing with the holes in the block
however with the smallest bushing or ?rear? bushing it only
has one hole on the bushing but the hole in the block itself
has two holes one coming from the race where the main
bearing sits and the other hole goes directly into the block
which hole should this bushing line up with. I thought maybe
you had to drill out one of the holes once installed but my old
bushing only has one hole to but it?s been so long I can?t
remember where it was lined up.
Thanks

The center cam bearing supplies oil to the top-end. If you put a wire in the hole opposite the one going to the rear main, I think it will be blind, or go to a plug. The rear main should be constant pressure lube. The rear cam bearing should be also, from the rear main. Jim's opinion.

These are the two holes I am talking about you see there is one hole from the rear main bearing race and one just from the block

That?s how I think my old one was as well that was my thought I just found that other hole odd. Thanks for your help!

Without a block to look at, I'm thinking the hole you need to line up is the one from the main bearing and the other hole is a drain hole from area between the camshaft and the expansion plug. This hole has to be open to drain the oil. I'm thinking if you install the cam brg that hole is still open.
