I'd vote for the 14.9's for a 400. This was the tire size used for the Nebraska test so could be
considered "correct". Back then they also ran the tests with the smallest available tires and
these are listed as 11-38 which is the modern 12.4. I agree with you that these would look very
out of place on a 400. My 350 has 13.6's and they look just right for that tractor.
