H4 Magneto problems

Working on a new-to-me '46 A with H4 mag. I've cleaned and gapped the points, and had to reattach the lead from the coil to condenser. I've got awesome spark at the cap end of the lead from the coil, but nothing at any of the plugs. Cap and rotor look excellent. Someone had had the mag apart before me- is it possible to get the internals off time somehow so that the spark is not timed properly between cap and rotor? Other things to check/ troubleshooting tips? I'm pretty new to actually working on these.

Yes, the rotor needs to be correctly timed, so it's near a high tension terminal when the points open.

There's timing marks to go by.

Oh yeah! I had watched a rebuild video and saw that, but it didn't click. That should be the only place the actual rotor timing could get off, right? I will check that. Thanks!

Bob, that was the problem! Someone had been into the mag before me and screwed up the timing of those two gears. Now I have spark! Thanks for the manual link as well!
