what is value of 806 lp

have 806 lp I bought, is in good condition. I was going to put a diesel motor in it , but hate to change it. it only needed new plugs.

Good shape? run it.Cheaper to just but a diesel tractor,unless you find a CHEAP 806 diesel with a blown rear end.

you where going to change engines because of spark plugs? i would change the plugs and use it.

I have an 856 diesel motor. I don't need the use of the tractor it's just a hobby for me. Is it worth more as a collector or would it be worth more as a diesel, and just sell it.

I wouldn't considerate it anymore collectible than an 806 diesel, but the engine would be something that an antique puller would want for a 460/560 swap.

Putting the diesel in yours wouldn't be that difficult. It's all stock parts to swap between them and make it fit. Engine Plate/Flywheel/Clutch etc. and other odds and ends. It just depends if you want something original or just a diesel tractor. I put a D358 in a 560 many years ago for pulling and at times I wish it still had the original C263 in it .
