I am getting ready to split the 560 clutch housing from the rear transmission to replace the O-ring and gasket. Is it possible to just move the front ahead far enough to reach in there and replace the O-ring? I know I will need to put a rubber band around the upper bearing. I have most of the items loose or removed to do it but am I missing something. I still have the bolts in but have the oil drained. The IT manual does not give any tips for putting it back together. The shafts should not move so alignment should not be a problem. Thoughts-comments. This tractor I have changed the pump, the suction tube, filters etc. and it still will not get enough oil above an idle like the other 560 I have does.
