Axle bearings

Fixin to replace inner and outer axle bearings on my H farmall I have the pto out tires and wheels ready to slide off axle housings unbolted I know I gotta remove bolts from bull gears and remove the gears is there anything else I need to to do pull the axle and housing off the tractor also any tips or tricks for replacement of the bearings will be greatly appreciated

To put the new ones on heat them in the oven then they will slip right on. Check the shims on the axle cap so you keep them with each side then they adjust much easier.

If those are anything like the way my bull gears were stuck on the axle you may have to loosen one bull gear bolt and put something in between the two bolts and keep backing the bolt out till the axle is pushed out from the bull gear. You may have to keep adding stuff between the bolts to get it all the way out. Does that make sense?
