Cub crankcase oil - Can lift system oil get in there?

Just got a cub a few weeks ago and it seems like the crankcase is making oil. On one of my JD's I had the engine mounted oil pump for the hydraulics had seals that could fail allowing oil from the hydraulic system to run into the crankcase oil. Is this possible on the cub? All of a sudden I have front and rear main seal leaking on the tractor and the oil level is above the full mark, which it was not when I bought the tractor 3 weeks ago. Antifreeze is same level. I did not check the hydraulic system oil levels when I bought it or now - just noticed last night after about 15 minutes of light use that I had some leaks that were not there before after a few hours of use.

If the seal is going bad the pump will put hydraulic oil into the crankcase. If you're lucky a new seal will fix it. If you change the seal look for a groove in the shaft before replacing the seal. If its grooved a new seal won't work unless you fix the shaft.

I figured it was like my John Deere MT. It seems like a small shaft. Any chance a speedi-sleeve would work or just need to find a replacement?

This problem has come up on here before and I think speedi sleeves were recommended. I've never done one so I can't comment on them.

I have used them on larger parts with good success. I guess I will have to take things apart to know where I stand. I found Case/IH has a rebuild kit so I am going to get that on the way to start with. Thanks.
