Farmall A or Super A

I recently purchased what is supposed to be a Farmall Super A (it has the Super A decal) but when I check the serial numbers on Tractor Data, the number shows it as an A. Is there a way to know for sure?

well if its an original tractor that was not pieced together , the serial #'s do not lie. i always check #'s.

i always thought that an A did not have hydraulic lift.

A no hyd pump Super A has a hyd pump. But if could also be a mutt made from a number of others tractors like my BA which is half B and half A

Seen a number of letter series tractors with increased horse power and a super decal added. If everything else looks like an A then it an A with the wrong decal.

If it has hy system its SA the A does not have a pump below the dist or mag
