Just had a miserable time out in the 100 degree weather here in NY baling, and after having to shut off the tractor to deal with the baler, it wouldn't get power to the starter.
I realized it's because the cable that has 3 other cables that goes onto the starter has practically disintegrated. I spent almost 2 hours trying to resplice it and while I almost got it working, it eventually became futile.
Other than replacing it all, my only other option would be to somehow use cables from my farmall 656 I have broken down. Otherwise, what is the part I need? And how difficult of a fix is it? Is it a common part I could find anywhere or is it something that will need to be ordered?
