never seen nor heard of one. 4th gear T.A. BACK would give you a speed between 3rd and 4th. what are you looking to do?

there was also a heavy duty tillage gear for 3rd gear in the 660's which was with a CC on the serial # tag. i do not know if this applied to the 560's. also do not know if it was just a heavier gears or a mph slow down. my 660 has that.

I have that on my 560......it is a bit slower but it makes the TA all goofy.

I would have to get the book out but I think 2 hi is faster than 3 lo????

It pulls stuff in third that otherwise would be in second like the M, it is too fast in third so plowing is second.

I don't want to not have the gears I have now,no TA, but want a half gear between 3rd and 4th. 3rd tillage would most likly be slower, hillbillyhim can you explain what yours is,thanks,I want to take out 1st and put in 3.5 gear thanks again.

I think it was Floyd Isbell that used to make custom gears for 560's , his website was customtractorshop.com, but it looks like that is no longer working anymore. It looks like he still has a facebook page, his phone number is 570-637-1311.

I was going to get custom gears made for my 560 from him to get the correct final ratio, but I've got too many projects going and haven't gotten back to that one yet.

Looking at speeds in OP manual I believe 2nd high is faster than 3rd low, If I remember right 3rd high is faster than 4th low too

If the tractor has CC on the serial tag the standard gears would put you between third and fourth. Gear tooth count following is for the counter shaft gear driving the main shaft gear. With CC third 32 to a 41, without CC 34 to a 39. If the tractor has standard gears fourth with CC, 38 to a 35, without CC 40 to a 33. Yes 4th is overdriven between shafts. With heavy tillage 3rd and 4th the standard 3rd would put you between what you have and with standard gears the heavy tillage 4th would put you between your present gears. You can also figure ratios using a SMTA through 450 ring and pinion or a W6TA to W450 ring and pinion and dropping to a lower transmission gear. Other ring and pinion options also in a few other tractors.
