farmall regular float adjustment

I sure don't know, but I built a test fixture to set floats on the ensign carbs/mixers.
I have a threaded spindle that seals off the bottom of the bowl and displaces as much
in the middle as the center tube would. That way I can adjust and set with the top of the
bowl removed. Normally there is a fuel line in the bowl to judge with, then I have an
old lawnmower gas tank for supply. You can actually use the tractor fuel tank with this
spindle also, holding it up with the line connected, have done that for a while just because
I was in a hurry. I think the brass float will be some different than the cork, but not much.

Inside the bowl there is a ring around about 3/8" down from the top. I always start there. I have changed all of mine over to brass also,
seems I always need to set the float just a little below the line and the work just fine.
