c90 brakes

i am having problems with the brakes needing to bleed every couple of days. I have a service manual but it is missing the brake section. i am trying to learn more on how it works. Is the reservoir on top of the master cylinders suppose to be full of hytran? does it work like a car system or does a pump supply oil to the master cylinders? my reservoir is empty. any help would be great, thank you

Hi Bill, I never worked on a C90 but I believe it is very similar to the later 85,95 and 32XX series and should have oil in it.
The brake reservoir is supplied by hydraulic oil from the oil cooler return line. There is a screen/restricter on the input pipe to the reservoir. The return line goes into the top of the transmission.
