Traction Control ? First Farmall with it? And Improvements?

I am interested in finding the sequence and history of
Traction Control on the Farmall and International tractors?

What was the first Farmall to have it ?
What improvements were made ?
And when were the improvements made ?

I have some knowledge of it, just trying to find dates first used and the model tractors it was used on.

Help me out here fellas !!!!

The first one i know of, would be on the 400 IH Farmall, the two point hitch system, my own personal opinion, it was a quick and easy way to hook to a plow for example, But as far as adding traction, other than the inherit weight of the hitch,there was none or very little. I have a 2 point on my Super MTA and a 3-16 semi mounted plow, the ground wheel when plowing is slipping all the time, it's got 4 sets of wheel weight's on the rear, no fluid, and about 700 lb's of nose weight's. it weigh's 8370 lb's with me on it. The Allis-Chalmers had a better system for that.

left side of the operator. the handle was moved (not while using the implement) to various slots to change the "amount". Replaced with much more
sensitive mechanical hydraulic system internal to the hitches on 3 point tractors. Jim
 
I don't think this is the answer you seek but the individual wheel brakes can be used as a form of traction control...brake the spinning wheel :)

I just happen to have the sales brochure for my Farmall 350 on the table next to my computer this evening and it says "Traction Control fast hitch".

As far as working, my dad had a Farmall 350 and that was our big tractor back then and I did a lot of plowing with 3 x 14 semi-mounted plow. Always had problem with the front wheels not staying on the ground while using the traction control. I guess I was too young to realize that the traction control was doing what it was suppose to and we just did not have any weight on the front to keep the wheels on the ground.
 

I think the first automatic traction/draft control was on the 504. I've read it was the first US designed three point traction control system.

The Farmall 230 also came out at the same time as the 4/350 series and had traction control.
 

Can you all help me understand how Farmall's traction control worked.

Did it just raise the pull point for mechanical advantage or did it actually move up and down as conditions call for it ?
 
An attempt: The handle controls a roller on a cam. As force increases on the yoke (main wishbone shaped link to a under tractor ball joint) the cam
position controls the height of that ball in relation to the tractor chassis. Thus as force increases the implement is tilted in a way that transfers
weight to the rear wheels. It is marginal in effect and not sensitive at all. Jim

What year did IH improve the traction control ?
I assume it had feedback /sensing of some type.
Was it on the top link or the three point arms ?
 
The three point Farmells and utility tractors had sensing systems internal to the rear housing. As far as I know these were really the first IHC
successful traction control. Jim
 
The Farmall / International 404 and 504 came out in 1961 with 3 pt. draft control. On the 404, it was on the toplink and I believe on the 504 it was also.

In addition to the 404 and 504, the 606 also had the upper link draft control in late 1961.
