Super M Hyd. Pump

I posted about installing new seals in this factory live pump last month. Did that and everything went smooth and worked as before w/no leaks & no noises(as before). I let it stand for 2 days and started it and got a whinning-buzzing comeing from hyd. pump now. The faster the engine rpm the faster the noise and I can feel this vibration in the hoses from the pump to the under tank control. Could this be air in the system and how do I bleed it if that is what it is??
What is the function of the ball & spring under plug on top of hyd. pump?

Thanks, Appreciate all the knowledge from ALL.

It may have had enough debris loosened up in the system to stick the relief valve. If it stops making noise when a device or cylinder is attached, I suspect that. If a cylinder is attached and cycled 15 times, it might purge air if that is it. Jim

I don't have 2 way valve on this tractor but could rig up a one way cyl. I did put a hose from pressure outlet and run back into res. but didn't do for very long.

While the loop was installed (as good as a cylinder) did the noise stop? Is the lift rod and its connection centered in the hold position? Jim

The noise did not stop. This morning I backed off the plug that is on top of pump that has a spring and steel ball under the spring and noise went away. So I must have set that pug to deep when putting the pump back together.

Thanks guys for your suggestions. Sure appreciate it.
