Having problems with the throttle on our super M it does not rev up like it used to.I have adjusted the linkage but that did not seem to help I was just wondering if their was some else I was missing.

Have you had the carb off?? If yes you may not have the gov to carb hooked up correctly.

whats a good way to see if its hooked up correctly ?

That can be hard to explain. The carb linkage has a small slot that hooks to the governor and if not in that slot it is hooked up wrong.

You basically have to pull the carb down or take the two bolts out that hold no. 19 to the governor
housing. Number 23 in the diagram is the shaft that moves the motion from the governor to the
carb. It is in side the horizontal tube that connects to the carb. The tang sticking out the right end
in the diagram goes in a notch on the end of the throttle plate shaft. If you had the carb off it could
likely not be in the right place. It is real tricky to get back in correctly. Just takes some time and
patience. If you had the carb off check this first. Otherwise let us know and we?ll give more details
on other adjustments.
