I think I finally got all of the kinks worked out my M thanks to you guys! Its been in fam since new etc.. It got parked in 1993, when we moved off of farm when i was 12. Stored in friends polebarn. Then 2001 I went to move it to my place, Didnt try to start because I didnt know how. Anyways only had to go 4 miles, but ended up wrecking. Dumping it off the trailer, tractor skidding upside down on highway. I dont remember how far, was in shock. Got it flat bedded home left it in a pile till 2017. It needed a couple parts like, bolster, top steering crown broke off, radiator, support rod, exhaust manifold, gauge bracket, center support, hood, grill, steering rod, gas tank, air cleaner and cover when that smashed it broke flange of carb off manifold. steering wheel, steering post, when that snapped it put fist sized hole in trans cover so that too. seat frame, lights, throttle rod, drawbar support, rear wheel center section and rim, I think thats it, about $800. But I had alot of fun doing it. I got it together and it ran after 24yrs! But had alot of issues from manifold leaks to getting a carb that bushings were seized on shaft but turned as it should. (thats what the vicegrip marks were from on gov side of shaft LOL) no gears were broke! You name it, it fought me. But getting the payoff now. Thanks again. I am going to try and post some pix this wknd.

Sure did! Life changing! I am not
completely to blame for it. But I dont tow
with halftons anymore.

Yep! I learned that lesson many years ago. Luck was with me though and no damage was done, but it was one heck of a wild ride for a few seconds.

Watch it, you'll get accused of being "YTDOT." Everybody knows you can safely gross 80,000lbs with a half ton truck, and rubber bungee cords are perfectly adequate tiedowns.

Good to hear the tractor is back in fighting form, though. Must've been a labor of love, because it sounds like there were more bad parts than good on that tractor.
