I picked up a 53 SC yesterday. It took a little work to get it going and
it has a flooding issue.
It has a front mounted blade that raises and lowers with the
cultivator arms.
The only hydraulic function that works normally is the Fasthitch tilt.
The fast hitch lift and the blade can?t seem to make up their minds
which wants to do what. The front blade constantly surges up
regardless of lever position. ( except down) This loads the engine and
because of the carburetor issue, causes the engine to stall out.
I haven?t had a lot of time to trouble shoot anything because I was
in a hurry to load it and get it home before dark.
I?ll start with the hydraulic oil level when I get back home. Any
other suggestions would be appreciated.
