IH 234 Block

I need a new block for my IH 234 and they are no longer made. Anyone have any idea where I can get one or am I going to have to scrap my tractor?

I own a 234 tractor - not for sale but I'm curious as to what happened to your block.

I purchased it knowing that it was possibly cracked, but took a chance. The guy said it froze, pushed the freeze plug out. I was hoping that was it. I got it for cheap. But apparently cracked the block inside, water is getting into the oil inside the block somewhere.

Its likely a project that you have to set off to the side until you find a parts tractor.

check here to see what Mitsubishi tractor has the same engine, I see only a D1550 with a 3 cyl engine.

Bates in Indiana is a large IH salvage.

Apparently that is a: Mitsubishi
Engine model K3B-13R

So I don't know if that is any help but there seems to be a lot of info on the internet for the K3B.
