I picked up a 706 diesel for a winter project this coming year it a non runner but do not think much is wrong at worst case might need a in frame overhaul. it came form north Dakota on a auction, after I got it home as I had a hauler bring it down. looking at the tractor looks to be some ones last tractor as it has a new after market steps with a hand rail and some one labeled everything on it like key switch, horn, and on the throttle there is a label saying, don't forget to turn off key. my mom passed this past oct and it reminds me of the things you do for people or love ones that need that little bit of help that they did early in the lives with out thinking. or at least that what I think might have been the case, I going the e mail the guy I got it from and see if he knows the history. the other part is that a 706 was my first tractor when I was getting started but could afford to keep it and up grade to a bigger tractor, but that one I still have my 1466.
