I have a IH 434 where it appears that the hydraulic cover is leaking. It is not quite clear if it is leaking from the cover that mounts to the base of the tractor or the cover that is on the front of the hydraulic unit or both. It is not leaking from the pressed in filter like some have mentioned. The drawing on the IH site shows one smaller gasket which I think is for the underside of the tractor? But not the base cover or front facing cover. Are there no gaskets there? It seems like there would need to be as much as you are required to fill the hydraulics per the manual. Can anyone clarify this?
