An u pull start a 1066?

I bought a 1066ih for $500. Guy said it ran but starter issues. I just want to get it home.
So can u pull start these things?

If it's a straight shaft.........Yes

If it has a TA...................No.....the TA needs Hydraulic pressure.

The tires are worth more than that. The front ones are worth that.

Nope.If you cant get the starter to work,winch it on a trailer.Dont try to tow it. You may not have any steering.And the rear end gears need the engine running to lubricate the gears. good buy!! you 'stole it!

Ya, the owner must have been in a bind for cash. If the tires are anywhere near the condition I see in pics the duals alone are worth almost twice what you paid. As was said you can?t pull it unless it has a straight gear drive trans with no TA. I grew up in NE Kansas the area was wheat and other row crops. I never seen one in that area that did not have a TA.

The owner sold his farmland and this was on the property. He wanted it gone and I was in the right spot right time. Yes it has a t/a. I?ll run a new positive cable and one good 12v battery and see if I can get it to light up. Thanks everyone. I?ll update.
