I have a 1989 IH 235 that we use a Woods RM59-3 mower on. It has 1487 hours on it and is in need of an oil change. The manual says to use SAE30, but I've read a lot of comments on YT that say folks are using 10W30 in their machines. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I think the general consensus on here is to use 15-40 in just about all tractors unless they are really old and have a lot of sludge built up inside.IMO.
