766 6 volt to 12 volt conversion

Hi guys I am new to this site, have a 766 that I am looking to convert to a 12 volt system. Wondering what all I will need to do it besides new batteries and alternator? Tractor has a 966 engine in it as well which may complicate it a little parts wise.

Also bought a set of foam markers for on the sprayer, can I run them off the 6 volt system or won't they run right till its converted to 12 volt?

The tractor is already 12 volt no need to do all that

A 766 is ALREADY a 12 volt system.It normally would have 2 6volt batterys,wired in 'series' (6 plus 6 equals 12).No "further action is required".

If you want to have 2 12 volt batteries, which is what I did to mine, just run both positives to the starter and ground both negatives.

That practice is called wireing in parallel.
