Farmall Hydraulics keep moving an strain on engine

Hey y'all,

I have a Farmall B with Touch-Control hydraulics on it. For some reason the arms are always moving back and forth and straining on the engine when they do. I have scoured the internet for an answer, but can't
seem to find anything. It seems like it must be some sorta seal leaking, but I don't know for sure. If anyone knows how I should go about fixing this I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Does it do it no matter where the hand lever is set? Does the load slowly settle to the ground when engine is stopped. How far does the rock shaft move, only a little? Does it load the engine when moving in both directions, or only when the lever loves toward the rear (down for implement).

As to what you have they never made a B with a touch control, but someone may have put a Super A torque tube, and possibly engine married to a B transmission and axle.

The rock shaft moves about an inch forward putting load on the engine, then slowly drifts back. It does this repeatedly about every five or so seconds. Doesn't seem to matter where the levers are set, but when the rock shaft is moving, the levers move as well. Sometimes they will find a sweet spot and stop moving, but as soon as I move the levers out of that sweet spot it starts doing it again.

I haven't used an implement on it so I don't know if it would fall after shutting off the engine.

If you hold the hand lever stationary does it still do it. If not the friction disk on the hand lever may need replaced, or if it is adjustable may just need tension nut tightened. May also need to oil the linkage on the front where it connects to control valve and piston. I am assuming it is full of fluid.

I have one from the tranny forward it is "C" componets to the radiator and B steering sector. They made a new batt box and mounted the steering mounts and the C levers ect. Engine has "special" cast in front of filter housing sheet metal is perfect even the C gastank. Everything works good. Engine serial# is from a power unit. They did a great job.
