Front Wheels

Working on a 1955 International 100 Farmall. I need a front wheel 16" X 4" wide with brackets & lugs. Aftermarket has the wheels but w/o the riveted lugs. This wheel is missing about 6 lugs. My search has turned up nothing. If I can't find a used wheel, any thoughts on replacing the missing lugs? Thanks.

That big tire dealer out Of Wauseon Ohio, M.E, Miller use to have them for sale, regular rims only had three,High crops and Wheatlands had 5 or 6

Electric Wheel in Quincy Illinois scrapped their Hydro-Pierce machine back around 1990 and no longer have the ability to punch holes and rivet on those mounting lugs.

The lugs are mallable Iron, welding them onto the steel rim would probably cause cracking of the lug.

Hunting up good used rims probably your best bet. Has to be hundreds in salvage yards across the country.

New rims will have welded tabs, not cast lugs.

You can buy the blank rim, drill the holes yourself, and rivet the lugs from your old rims on yourself.

Not sure what you mean by "missing 5 or 6 lugs" as there were only three per wheel originally.

Big Tire has blanks but I would have weld on the brackets and put in the rivets. Where are the other two dealers you mention...can't seem to find them? Thanks.
