Looking at a B. Is there a difference in rear width between a B and B narrow. l read this site often and enjoy the knowledge. I have 20 acres and
enjoy playing with my M and MF 135. Always thought a B would be fun to have. Thanks for any replies.

Except for the 8 inch width difference the two are the same tractor. I have the BN. It for my estimate is the better of the 3 A B and BN as my life can atest to. Even safer than the larger Farmalls because of the wheel configuration and center of gravity. Quite often a hdrolic pump was after market pump was fitted to it, even a front end loder, along with mounted cultivater/ scufflers as called in south western Ontaro Ca.
Still finishing up rebuilding mine, the weather here has had its swing effects, since I am working on it out side. Best to you on your choise.

Another question? Will the mag be the same as the M. Also thoughts on mag or distributor, which do you all like?

The magneto is the same for A's, B's, C's, H's, M's.
Either a magneto or distributor will work just fine on a B, I have a magneto on mine.

Mine has the distribtor. I like it. The only differance between the two as I recall, the mag will work with out a battery. Some one else may correct me though.
