HELP! After having the hydraulic pump rebuilt on my Farmall 140 I am still having hydraulic fluid going into the motor. Can anyone tell me what may have happened or what I need to do. And would it hurt to put 30W in the lift. Thanks in advance.

If it was rebuilt (and has a reputable rebuilder) they will repair the seal they failed to replace, or the groove in the shaft
pointed out by Gene. If not, Gene is correct. Jim

Question. How are you installing the shaft through the bushing now that you installed a speedy sleeve. More to it than just pushing a speedy sleeve onto the shaft.

Still trying to find out what type of speedi sleeve I'll need for Farmall 140 hydraulic pump. It's been rebuilt and hydraulic fluid is still going into the motor. As some has suggested, it seems that a groove has formed. The man that rebuilt it is an older man and has been working on tractors all of his life. He's willing to fix it, but has never heard of a speedi sleeve. Can anyone give me some details. Here's the type of pump I have. IH53506, Pesco Hydraulic Pump. Thanks.
