I need to replace a couple hydraulic lines on my 350 Utility, but want to make sure I do it correctly. I have couplings that look like the ones pictured here. Am I correct that my hydraulic line's 1/2" pipe thread end screws into the bottom of this? I have tried to remove this coupling from the existing hose, but it's on there awfully tight. I'm thinking I might have to put it into a vise to get it off, but want to make sure I won't destroy something if I do, and that I don't have to just get a new fitting to attach to the hose. If the latter, what fitting to I need - what's this called? And when I attach the hose to it, do I need any teflon tape or anything to seal it?
Thanks for any help!
