Sediment bowl packing

I'm trying to repack the stem on my original H sediment bowl and wondering what type of material to use. I read somewhere about using the strings of graphite for faucets. I tried that on this one and the one on my Super A. It worked for a couple days before the gas ate it up and it leaking again. Any ideas? Thanks

Get the "Teflon" valve stem packing from your local hardware store. It seals well while putting very little drag on the stem, so they turn very easily. seems durable in gasoline or diesel.

I went to the hardware store and got Teflon packing. Took it apart and installed the Teflon . No leaks yet. Thanks
