Farmall super m fan belt

Was just curious how to take off the fan belt on the super m. The radiator is off so it?s easy to get to but I?m not to sure how to adjust the fan so I can get a belt on and off. Thanks

The water pump hub front belt flange screws off to relieve tension on belt. It should have a set screw in it, with that loostened it should rotate, counter clockwise looking from the front, so belt is loose and can be removed. Sometimes they are a little resistant to move on the threads. With radiator off should be easier

I am not being a smart-a$$ here, but the difficulty is loosening up that flange / set screw/ assembly. Gotta be careful, it's cast iron. OLD cast iron. I'd use PB Blaster, heat, tap-tap-tap, PB, torch, tap-tap-tap ..... I never have got mine loose. Never.

I just use a screw driver and pry it off.
