did TA delete changed out the hydra block on side of range transmission, now have brakes, steering response but vary stiff. Pump is good. whats wrong?

Don't know never did a T/A delete , I bought alot of I H tractors with the T/A out and one factory T/A delete only to leanr that yes everybody complains about the T/A failing and the cost of having it repaired but around here that Non T/A tractor is worthless and ya darn near have to GIVE it away with a fresh fluid and filter change a full tank of fuel a one year warranty and all expense paid weekend getaway and free delivery and loose a grand to boot So it was much easier to by the ones with the T/A out and install a new clutch pressure plate new IDPTO input rebuild the MCV with a new pump and spring kit and a three year warranty T/A and make money . The T/A in my one close friends 1066 that he bought off of me some 20 some years ago is just now starting to go south . And the difference in cost between a T/A and a Delete kit was not enough to worry about.
So as for me i have no idea what is going on and what needs changed .

You mean you had the MCV off? If so and when you did the T/A delete did you plug the 3 holes in the side of the main casting there. If not then your loosing your oil pressure out there so steering will be slow and lacking the correct pressure. Will also be short on oil flow for proper lubrication to bearings and gears. They should have given you the plugs for that when you got the delete kit.

Had MCV from junker, rebuilt it with overhaul kit. Steering somewhat easier after seating for three days. Had air in system. Still not as easy as other tractor that I use.
