Ive been everywhere looking for a 11x38 double rib rim for a 504 I am restoring for a customer and cant find anything out there . 10 inch and 12 inch but no 11 -- no new ones and no used ones -- anybody got a suggestion -- only need one -- Roy(tired of looking)

Check with the salvage yards: All State, JP, Stauffer, Steel Wheel Ranch, Worthington, Northeast, Alderson, etc. The list is nearly endless. Miller, Tucker, or your local farm tire dealer may help as well. I doubt that the rim was unique to the 504.

At one time they made 11 x 38 inch rims when these tractors were new. Now the rim makers only make the 10 and 12 inch widths. Normally you would use a 10 inch rim with 12.4 tires and a 12 inch rim with 13.6 or 14.9 tires. The same is true of 16.9-28 tires. When the 606 and 544 were new they came with 14 inch rims. The 14 inch rims are no longer available from the rim makers and they now use a 15 inch rim with the 16.9 -28 inch tire.
