Farmall 140 touch control

I have a Farmall 140 that leaks a lot
when the engine is running from where
the hydraulic pump attaches underneath
the distributor. Also feels like the
two arms are fighting each other. Any
idea what's going on? Also is there a
way to drop the pressure on the
cylinders so I can run the tractor
without damaging the pump.

Thanks, John

sounds like , maybe, line connections are not good, or busted housing. usually they will leak around the shaft and hydraulic oil will go into crankcase. check real good for loose connections or a crack in hydraulic housing. are mounting bolts loose?

Turns out I was missing the end plate for the pin used for mounting implements to the touch control arms and the pin was causing the two arms to lock together and fight each other. I removed the pin for now and the arms move free and there are no more leaks, also drained a replaced the hydraulic fluid.
