Farmall H harness wiring

Can anybody out there tell me how to wire a new harness on a Farmall H? I've converted it from 6-volt positive to 12-volt, put in a new Hitachi alternator and put in an electronic ignition. I also put in a new amp meter by-passing the old one with high and low charge. Please be specific. Never done it before. Would the old 6-volt amp meter work with 12-volt, I doubt it but don't know for sure. Would welcome any replies.

im going to be doing the same thing to my tractor in the spring time as your doing to yours,I have a w-4 , but I’m going to use a volt meter instead of a amp gauge, I’d rather check my volts to see if the battery is charging instead of how many amps i have. [/img]

An ammeter doesn't care about volts so your old one will work fine. If you reverse from a positive ground to negative then you will have to flip the wires on the ammeter otherwise it will read backwards. The light bulbs have to be changed to their 12 volt equivalents

Thanks for the drawing but I have a Hitachi alternator. The harness is different.
