question on gages clusters, the cluster with your oil gage in etc. the top 4 warning lights what is the lower right yellow light? I do not have a Manuel, it has a circle with a bar. thanks ahead of time.

Are we talking below the turn signal flashers? There are four warning lights below the turn signal lights. From left to right they are: Trans oil pressure, brake wear, air cleaner service, and low coolant.

Hope that helps. I can look again if you need it.

Maybe this will be useful.

That is a brake wear indicator light. BUT. a 1586 does not use it as there is no sensing prod on that brake setup. Used on all smaller 86 series as they have the brakes mounted on bull pinion shaft. It will light up though when key is in start position as that is also the test position to see if lamps work.

that's the one coolant level, so that means I have a bad wire or sending unit. the system is full.
thanks for the help, need to get a Manuel for this as I could not find anything telling what that symbol was in my R&R manual.

I guess I was referencing the wrong light, but the coolant level is supposed to be red and brake wear indicator is amber. The color is determined by the strip of plastic under the cover .
