we bought a 560 diesel but the engine is painted yellow is this engine out a crawler?

That is a possibility, but it could be out of any industrial, or county/state road equipment, or a power unit. No real issue other
than not being original. Jim

I've seen several pavers over my lifetime that had the D282 and a few other machines including a few trenchers that had the D361.

Is it painted yellow or is it just yellow primer under red paint and a lot of red paint is gone, I have seen quite a few tractors from the 50's and early 60's with yellow primer on the
engine and parts attached to the engine
