International 2606 3 Point Issue

Hello all,
I have an old but good 2606 industrial with some issues im sorting. The 3 point does not lift. If I set a position and then move the remote lever it will lift the 3 point to the position and hold it. There is also an odd hydraulic line with a ball valve, if I close the ball valve the 3 point wont lift even with remote lever actuated. I pulled out what I believe is the unloader, I cant find any good diagrams that seem to match what I have. Does anyone know if this is the correct order for the unloader parts? Anyone have any idea what the ball valve and line is for? Thank you!!

If my eyes are seeing what I think, you have a Ford lift cover on that IH. Just a guess, remote valve would have to be held open some way to supply pressure with ball valve open, then use the Ford control lever. Did you buy tractor this way?

The whole picture does not look like a 2606. The unloading valve would have to be assembled with spring, follower, ball, seat, piston. And the piston would have to go in so the end with a projection on it can push ball off the seat. I actually do not see a seat for the ball in your picture. They are normally threaded in to casting holding ball and spring in then piston on top of that.

In looking at the parts diagrams I thought it didnt look anything like what I have. I attached another pic incase anyone might be able to ID what it is. Vapet, I do have to have the remote locked in and the 3 point functions normal until the lever pops back. As far as I know, the tractor is a 2606, at least all the brake and engine parts I have ordered for it have been correct. Is what I removed not the unloader perhaps? I removed it from the threaded plug as seen in the picture from my original post. Where is the unloader normally located? Does anyone have a pic of a 2606 to compare? Thank you so much for the help!

Found part numbers on the 3 point... NCA501B. It is from a ford!! That is an amazing eye vapet, I never would of thought someone would do something like this. Locking the remote back would certainly work for now, any thoughts on how I could hook it up more permanently? Reason being is I have a blade with a hydraulic tilt I would like to use so I need a working remote.

Cool example of how anything can be done. To make it all work properly, you will need to do some major re plumbing.

I had an idea using a power beyond plate, but your return and pressure ports needed to complete such circuit on each component are also internally cast. there would be some disassembly required and plugging an internal port or 2.
Maybe the loader plate or regular end plate from an early doncaster built utility that use same hyd valve you have could help make it work (such as a 574 and others).
Maybe one connection internally could do it all without any additional parts other than a hose/tube and some drilling/tapping.

after a few hundred dollars and a months labor, it would work correctly and you'd feel like an engineer.

or

a few hundred dollars or less and an afternoon plumbing on a 4-8 gpm engine belt-driven pump to run the 3 point exclusively and let the existing tractor system run the remote.

in any scenario I think the port the ball valve is connected to gets plugged on the valve side and the 3 point will get pressure from the current supply port. (except if you try an internal connection, then the top 3 point port would be plugged.)

I have limited net access but my email address is available on classic view.
