HTA for sale

It's one thing to push parts of two tractors together and call them something else tongue-in-cheek, but this guy is misrepresenting this tractor, bigtime.

That's what the flagging system is for. If you're local and you object to this guy lying about what he has for sale, punch the "Prohibited" link. When enough people do that the ad is removed.

I have a jackwagon here that's totally misrepresenting a 1066, and spamming it on over a dozen craigslist sites.

I don't know Barnyard, he is only asking $3000. Not too "bigtime". And he has the "H" label on it. Must be a 300 or 350 rear. Can't tell if he has live power.

There?s nothing wrong with the guys ad when you actually read it. They?re not making any false claims like it?s a factory original, rare, etc, and
it?s got regular H decals on it. There are lots of people who alter tractors and make false representations, but this one doesn?t seem to fall into
that group. Reporting stuff like this is just a sad attempt at being a Craigslist cop, kinda petty.

Wow! How the price of these "Rare" tractors has fallen!
Wonder how much he spent for the H and the 300?

He has the LPTO box on the rear of the rearend so probably does have Live PTO, not sure why he only used
a 4 ft mower on it.

I've seen a couple Super H-TA's sell on Mecum on RFTD, $3000 is where they all sold at and were much
nicer finished than that tractor, better paint, tires.

In my opinion, a Super H-TA should be worth less than a 300/350. I've put several thousand hours on my
Stage II Super H since Dad bought it in spring 1968. I've wished it had a TA many times, Live PTO a
couple times, and more hyd capacity and remotes many many times. Would I make a Super H-TA out of it?
HeXX NO!

ONE OWNER???? That's not false advertising? I can tell you right now that there were at least THREE owners (original owner of the H, original owner of the 300, current owner, possibly scrapyard owner of either/both), and that's assuming the tractors were purchased from their original owners.

Ad's down now but there were 2-3 other claims made in that ad that were completely FALSE, and nowhere in the ad does it say that it's two tractors pushed together. It's advertised as an original, one owner tractor.

Sometimes I just don't get you guys. You'll see a beautifully done Super HTA with close attention to detail, and you'll run up a 100-post thread ripping the guy a new one for committing fraud.

When there is ACTUAL FRAUD, oh it's no big deal. He probably didn't mean it. You didn't read it right. BS.

There's a photo of a HVTA on page 46 of the Red Power magazine. The tractor is at the Red Power Museum in Columbus Junction, IA. Was owned by Roger & Bev Howe.

Nothing wrong with making something custom or putting parts of 2 tractors together. The tractor might have originally been a 1 owner before they put the rear on. Really cheap and picky people tend to always nit pick things to the point that you want to tell them to hit the road. Sounds like you're one of those people. As long as he says....yeah I put this together and it works well, then it's ok. Don't judge a book by its cover or an ad just by the short text. Call the guy and go look at it. You might like it! It's also the prospective buyers obligation to do his homework and know that it is what it is.
